The second edition of The New Public Health Law: A Transdisciplinary Approach to Practice and Advocacy arms lawyers and public health professionals of any background with the tools to fully exploit the potential of law to improve public health.
The second edition is updated to include updates from the field since COVID-19, and a discussion of the Supreme Court decisions that came out in June (primarily Dobbs, Bruen, and West Virginia v. EPA). These cases, and their implications for public health, are also discussed extensively in the teacher’s manual.
Supplemental teaching material is now available and includes draft chapters of the second edition and a new sample exam, and is for teaching purposes only. It is available upon request.
