CONSIDER BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

2025 ELECTION

The 2025 Annual General Meeting of GLEPHA will be held by virtual Zoom meeting on Wednesday November 26th, 2025 at 12:00 PM (UTC/GMT) by virtual Zoom meeting.   The Notice of AGM will be sent out to all members late October once details have been finalized.

As a normal course of business, there will be an election for a number of GLEPHA Board positions.  An election will be held at this upcoming AGM for the following positions:

Vice President, and;

4 Ordinary Board member positions.

We are always looking for GLEPHA members who are keen to serve on our Board to further the aims of our association and to building GLEPHA. We have been fortunate that we have had a diversity of experience from different fields, and that has served us well.  It is desirable to have diversity across gender, geographically, and with different work, research and policy experiences.  It is through this diversity that our association is better able to advance the objectives of GLEPHA in a meaningful and relevant way.

GLEPHA Board members are expected to actively participate in the governance of the association, by attending board meetings (usually 6-8 per year), assisting in fund raising, participating in standing and ad hoc committees, and being GLEPHA board representative on one or more of our Special Interest Groups, among other roles and responsibilities.  GLEPHA Board members represent the values of the association.

Nominees must be financial members of GLEPHA, that is a fully paid-up member of GLEPHA in good standing, must complete the Nomination Form with either being nominated by another GLEPHA member or self-nominating, and must submit the Nomination Form by the deadline.   Full details will be provided in the Notice of Annual General Meeting.
