With a solid foundation in criminology and policing, Dr Levi Anderson has been actively engaged in applied road policing and safety research since 2017. His research primarily revolves around the themes of road policing, analysing driver behaviour, and examining issues related to driver impairment.
Currently, Levi’s research is exploring the fesibility of new and emerging technology in the road policing space, specifically, the use of mobile point-to-point speed enforcement technology. Levi’s previous work has been aimed at understanding and improving the enforcement of traffic laws on Queensland’s roads and beaches, as well as exploring how the design of police vehicles can influence human behaviour and compliance with the road rules.
