GLEPHA is proud to announce a new 12-month partnership with the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to support Fijian police, prosecutors, legal officials, health partners, and community leaders to respond confidently and effectively to Fiji’s emerging HIV epidemic.
This program focuses on strengthening public health-aligned policing and justice practices.
Project Highlights:
- Co-Design: We are conducting consultations and Talanoa sessions with police, prosecutors, and community leaders to ensure the program is grounded in Fiji’s operational and cultural realities.
- Capacity Building: The project includes training, legal and policy guidance, and a study tour to Australia to explore harm reduction programs.
- Key Locations: Field visits and trainings are planned for Suva, Lautoka, Labasa, and other locations.
